Default Tonight’s football 5/4/22.....if you can put yourself through it

Benefica v murderers 8pm

Enjoy watching Liverpool dispatch Benicia with ease, be amused by the shakesperian quotes on their fans banners

City v atletico madrid 8pm

Gaze in amazement as a vehicle to cleanse the image of a brutal totalitarian state sweep aside a team united couldn’t lay a glove on

£#%&! off

Absolutely piss-easy ties for the pair of them.

I'll be watching neither of them.

Having said that, there aren't exactly many challenges for them out there at the moment. There isn't a single team left in the champions league anywhere near as good as City or Liverpool.

Some Championship games are on Sky. If I watch any football tonight, I'll be watching one of those.

Thumbs down

£#%&! that, would rather watch paint dry, or even worse, United play.

It will be a City vs Liverpool final this year, btw. Best to just accept it now.

I'm going to watch city then stop if it's too easy for them. Could be a game if Madrid turns up. Could be 2-1, could be 5-0. Outside chance of 0-1.

We made madrid look miles better than they are. It'll be light work for City.

Booing because of uefa corruption? Why are they actually booing?

Because of their own corruption.

Quote:
The principle reason behind the booing is over what City fans deem unfair treatment from Uefa in regards to Financial Fair Play sanctions they handed down to the club in 2014. City were found guilty of breaching certain rules. They were fined £49m by Uefa and forced to name a reduced 21-man squad for the 2014-15 Champions League season as part of the punishment.

Because uefa had the temerity to call them on their blatant fiddling the books with their fake sponsors.
