Too similar to Lindelof (IMO). United need a commanding CB alongside the other, the other also needs to be Axel.

It’s up to the manager to know who’s out there as well. Presumably he watches other matches.

Obviously it could be argued that our poor transfer structure of having multiple different people hired under multiple different managers still at the club and having a say on who to sign etc is a problem.

Yep that too. Lawlor is still here isn't he? That's Fergie's chief scout, then one from Moyes, LVG and Jose. £#%&!ing daft.

Think he'd do well along side a Koulibaly, Lindelof is the real fraud can't even win headers.

smalling is a good player (and more of a goal threat). however, his distribution is awful. would like to see them playing together. linde is an absolute @#%&!.

Fredsters not appreciating how playing in the middle of Linderlof who doesn’t head the ball and Shaw who does £#%&! all and is always out of position has an effect on McGuire and his positioning.

Was decent against Burnley when had Williams alongside him....

Just remember the problem is not always the actual player but what is around him

Was decent against Burnley who had managed about 1 shot on target since November and whose sole tactic was a long ball into the big man up top. £#%&! all to do with who was around him.

Personally think he's dragged Lindelof's game down, if anything. He looked miles better last season.

This is nonsense. Fred is the best corner taker we’ve had in about 20 years and almost every ball he puts in is in what you’d call a “dangerous area” but we never ever attack them.

Ive no real issue with Maguire mainly because I’d criticise the three players beside him first. He needs to be more commanding but I think he’s a good solid defender who’ll prove to be a good buy over the years.
