Wonder if Jones would have fallen over at the first coming together or the second.

No chance would that have been a foul he got a solid contact on the ball before he made any contact with the man. Great tackle.

yeah was poor tonight. on tv over here the pundits reckon he's playing with a lot less freedom due to the pressure he's under. i think once he gets used to it he'll be great.

Have always found him to be really mistake prone. However, definitely an improvement on literally every other defender in our squad. I was very impressed with Tuanzebe the other week though.

Thumbs up

He's definitely a bit overrated but he could still do well for us because we are shit.

Terrible tonight and has been at best decent since Chelsea

Saying he’s a great signing at 80 mill seems very premature

Looks very slow and leaden footed at times
Starting to wonder if he’s forcing the team to defend deep to protect himself

i think it's pressure. he's not playing the same way he did at leicester.

he's still done pretty well since he's arrived imo

Always looks very good playing for England.

But then it helps when you have an actual midfield in front of you that isn’t insipid shite and forwards than can actually score goals.

I laughed at him for england at the world cup. always due a calamity but he was awesome attacking corners and also playing out from the back. we haven't seen much of his good attributes yet.

England make mistakes but at least they know how they want to play and it works a lot of the time.

I have no idea how united want to play football.

he's a lot braver for england. I think he's in crisis management mode at United and taking time on the ball etc is a luxury he can't afford atm. I think he'll get better and better.
