On the upside, think of the poetry we'll create in a few years time

like was said, cheaper for the gimps to hand out new contracts, than £#%&! them off on a free and buy in up grades, but the cherry on the shit cake will be if Jones signs a new deal, that could send me over the edge...........

Unreal today.

Whiners on here have always hated him. IMO he has been giving very good performances every single season since we signed him. Lots of great moments.

Terrific.

Whatever you think of him, we shouldn’t be letting him leave on a free. No way.

Don't think he's good enough long term - maybe as a squad player - but have to admire the attitude. He'd stab his mum for three points.

Didn't he play as a 10 for Bilbao? I'm possibly thinking of the other lad United were linked to around the same time. I think he's fine as a squad player, better than most. You'd £#%&!ing hate to play against him, an absolute pain in the arse of a player.

Yep no10 under Bielsa at Bilbao. I think LvG didn't rate him much as a central midfielder which hampered him. No10 is his natural role but Mourinho may have been correct to try and turn him into a scampering busy midfield player in the deeper areas at this level.
