Hopefully we can now concentrate on getting that sporting director appointed and work on transfer targets for the summer

I'm probs still 60-40 in favour of Poch but we're maybe his only route out of Spurs. Could leave him there and revisit this in 2021

The 2 #@&%! pundits on my stream pre-match were. Apparently Ole hasn’t shown enough tactical nous, his subs aren’t great and he doesn’t spend enough time in the tactical area :£#%&!er: we need a proper, top manager according to those geniuses.

He might rest on his laurels. Should make him caretaker manager for ten years imo. Keep fobbing him off with cancelled ‘meetings’.

Pochettino: "We have to look at ourselves and maybe assess ourselves in different ways - we are not looking for excuses. It is holding us back and it might take five years' work, 10 years' work to change that. The reality is that it will be tough to win the Premier League because of us, not because Liverpool or Manchester City are any better".

Ole (on our injuries): "When do you make the change? Do you wait until pre-season and think you will change results by not asking them to run. Or do we start now and show them what the demands of intensity are and how we want to play? You have seen what I have chosen. We need to play as a Manchester United team. If you want to be a part of Manchester United, it's a survival of the fittest isn't it?"

I £#%&!ing love that quote from Ole. A man who implicitly understands what this club stands for and the standards they must achieve and is making no excuses for anyone, himself or the players.

Moyes, LVG and Mou all in their own way were intimidated by the recent history of the club and wanted to change the narrative to lessen that pressure. Ole wants that challenge to inspire the club instead of weighing it down. It is ok to be Manchester Utd basically.

He should have been sacked the next morning, we didn't need to know anything more about him at Utd.

Most notable part of the quote imo. Wouldn't expect any manager to wait six months before telling the players to run more. But the relaxed demeanour tonight and that reference to pre-season does give the impression he's getting good vibes.

I bet he can't believe what happened to him over the last two months
