There is rarely much talk about individual pieces of brilliance, as players have been moulded into generic prototypes to fit rigidly tight 'systems'. Where are the mavericks?
Football is a sad state of affairs these days, where the majority of the supposed 'entertainment' comes from the controversy around referee decisions. Absolute shite 'product'.

Spot on mate. 11 robots carrying out pre-programmed passing drills.
I have to wonder when i hear these journos and £#%&!ing pundits raving on about how good it is to watch. Are they serious? It's £#%&!ing dull. Every team plays exactly the same way. Honestly football 25 years ago might not have been as 'technical' as it is now but £#%&! me at least you could enjoy some of the chaos of it. The shit pitches and the tackles, different teams playing different ways, lesser teams able to even things up by being a bit physical.
