Everything he said was bang on.

City were better than us last year and have strengthened a little bit. Liverpool have spent a fortune to catch up. He's not happy because we're not doing enough in the market. I'm glad he's actually admitting it. Even if we sign a centre back I think we all know it's not enough. If we're going to get close to City we need a world class full back and a winger.

Failure to do that displays that the club aren't interested in competing.

Yes the football is shit but that doesn't excuse what Woodward/Glazers are doing.
