Default In the unlikely event of us winning the FA cup, will we get an open top bus parade ?

And if so, will it be on the Sunday or the Monday evening ?

Suppose it would make the transition complete.

Council have confirmed there will be a bus parade.

Not open top though, and probably only a single decker.

Fair imo

I'd be more than happy to have an open top bus parade on the proviso we are allowed to turn up and give it the West Ham treatment

We just about got past a team that was playing for a soon to be sacked manager in the semis after surviving a near collapse in the 2nd half. Can't understand anyone being confident tbh.

Why not?

The only time in our history we haven't had a parade for winning the FA cup was in 2004
Maybe it's not the trophy it once was but call me a traditionalist I think it's worth a parade around Manchester especially as we haven't won it for ages

Wed be slagged off for it and then blamed for its decline in prestige, despite having an open £#%&!ing top parade.

Yep - let's not bury the trophy just yet

Coincidentally wasn't 2004 the only time United won the FA Cup since 1990 where it was the only success that season. All other FA Cup wins throughout the 1990's and 2000's were part of doubles and treble's. Hence the open top bus tours.

An FA Cup win and finishing 17 points behind Leicester does not warrant an open top bus tour around Manchester imo. Honestly how many people would bother attending? It would be as embarrassing as City's title winning parade a few seasons back.
