His size and pace should mean he'd be well suited to English football, and he's certainly settled well in Europe having scored 9 goals in 22 games this season.

Apparently he has an €18M release clause, and Chelsea have been sniffing around.

Anderson Talisca is a stunning talent based on the highlights ive seen and a youtube comp. 18m euros is nothing these days.

Schar contract expires next summer, even with them in the CL last 16 he would happily leave Basel in January. Nice bit of january value avaliable. And with LvG as coach, you know he won't hesitate to bring someone in. He'll have had a good look now at what is avaliable to him.
