Thought Abidal was staying there now? If Gabby and Goldfish go we're gonna need another fullback.

Leighton Baines?

Seriously though I can see Evans being back up.

Not sure what to make of this.

If Mikky and Heinze both go this summer we have no defensive LB's at the club.

Is he a left footer?

Careful.

That's where Anderson slots in. Maybe even Rossi might get his chance there?

Anderson likes to play left back. His favourite position.

JOS can do a job there. Well, used to be able to. Hasn't played there for a while but he used to be fantastic.

I think you'll find Anderson likes to play as a wingback in the Brazillian sense, I personally don't think this translates that well as a fullback in England. Also he's not played there for Porto. Personally I want a proper backup to Evra as going back to O' Shea makes us weaker than last year.

Good. The sooner he goes the better.

Can't believe people are worried about this. Evans or O'shea can cover if needs be.

What if Evra gets a 3 month injury? All I'm saying is if you sell 2 left backs, leaving you with 1, you should buy one as backup. Personally I'd like Goldfish gone and Gabby to stay.

Evra injures quite easily. Sell Heinze, he wants to go, keep Mikky, he knows his place.

Wasn't trying to be, just suggesting the fact that just because at 14 he liked to play like Roberto Carlos doesn't make him a viable United left back.

Given he's started England games & is 5 years older than Baines I suspect he'd cost a bit more & isn't as good anyway.

I don't get that sense of Scouseness from Baines, seems like a reasonable lad & he's got a belting left foot - remember him doing very well against all the big boys this season & scored plenty. Not least against us, the cheeky £#%&!er. That one against Germany was better than Essien's as well with the outside of his left peg. If we got shot of Gabby & 50p head, I'd rather him than most we've been linked with.

I know. I wouldn't want him to play there anyway.
