Hearing Sancho, Koulibaly and Ndombele are in the bag, big moves.

Saw the tweets from red cafe earlier and apparently Rene Meulensteen‘s been talking to Norwegian press about Young, Valencia and Shaw not being good enough

He named Wan Bissaka, Chilwell and De Ligt as defensive signings we should make.

Also said Matic was a good player but is too slow and we need an upgrade there. Said he’d welcome a call off Ole to be a part of the coaching team...

Can see that going down well after his comments about the four above

Buy 3 1D players then.

If OGS does get the job he'll be so grateful that he'll accept being given a transfer budget of £8.

That’s exactly it. We don’t want a ‘CDM’ we want a player capable of a bit of everything. Pretty sure he was dragged off early in the WC Final for being a bit pointless. Most overrated player in the PL that little £#%&!er. Would come here and be shite.

Pedro and Fabregas won the WC with Spain and the title with Chelsea, shall we buy them too?

I have to agree. He was very good for Leicester and Chelsea early on. At one very specific job.

Then just seemed to have this untouchable aura and this acceptance that he was amazing and one of the best in the world.

He's good at screening the back four, but there's not a lot to his game.

He also had spells and matches where he was dominated and nobody seemed to mention it.

I'd rather we have someone a bit more rounded than him.

Yep. He’s good, nqat, but I’ve never been a fan of having a midfielder who destroys and can’t do anything else. We need someone like Carrick, Fernandinho (), Verratti, Kroos etc. Who can play and do the defensive bit. Can’t afford to have 2 players doing a bit each.

We have that now. Herrera, Pogba and Matic are varying degrees of good at particular things. Take one out and you lose the job they do. We need more flexibility in there.

Scholes and Keane's games didn't fall to bits if you moved them 20 yards up or down the pitch, or if the other one wasn't there.

Eriksen would be an obvious choice for me if Spurs can't tie him down.

Good example of this 'all rounder' topic. He started against us a little higher up the pitch. Sissoko went off and he played deeper, started pinging balls around from deep, with more space and we struggled.

Yep. Would be a tremendous addition. Would mean finding someone far more dynamic and balanced than Matic to play with him and Pogba though imo. Although we need that anyway.

Dunno if you'd build a team with Pogba and Erisksen in a three unless you're playing Guardiola tactics.

Matic needs upgrading anyway, or at least get an alternative. We need a total restructure of the midfield and the way it works.
