Default Team v Fulham

I keep hearing talk of resting people for PSG.

Nonsense imo, we need to go for it hard in this game, get a good lead and then take off key men. PSG we'll be up for regardless. Win this and we go into 4th place. Big morale boost considering we were 11 pts off that position 6 weeks ago.

DDG

Dalot
Bailly
Lindeløf
Shaw

Matic
Herrera
Pogba

Lingard
Rashford
Martial

1-4 utd

Would go strong but stock the bench with midfielders and hook Pogba and Matic when the games won.

Keep thinking Matic must be knackered but to be honest its not as if he is constantly running around and making bursting runs. Reads the game well.

Herrera maybe one to drop out along with Lingard given the nature of their game.

Word

But think Martial Fred and Dalot should all be given a run of games now to get them match fit for tough period

This.

We need to rotate at some point. A game against one of the worst teams in the league just prior to a run of very difficult and important fixtures is exactly the time to do it.

It's the right thing to do despite the risk.

Strongest team. Don't think we have a squad good enough to be £#%&!ing about tbh.

But some regular players looked knackered against Leicester, making changes is a risk but may be the lesser evil.

We won the game.

Against Burnley on the other hand...

I'm all for rotating when you have a good squad, and you have a chance of going far on all fronts. Fulham is a must win game IMO as we don't have much chance of winning the CL with our defence and midfield. If we £#%&! about with the team at weekend, we will probably £#%&! up.

I'd give Sanchez another chance. Not Lukaku because Fulham will sit deep which would probably render him pointless. Maybe hold Tony back for PSG. And maybe Shaw for the same reason.

Other than that, we don't really have the options to change things much, which is a shame because the way we've closed the gap on Chelsea has taken some pressure off in the league.

The options are weak, but the reality is we need to rotate.

If we play the same side Every week, we will be completely done by mid March.

We have to trust the options we have for now.
