I think Ole is doing a decent job with what he’s got tbh.

But weren't these issues the same earlier in the season - Bournemouth, Palace, West Ham, Newcastle, etc. - when options, fatigue and injuries were not so much of a factor? This isn't a recent problem. It's been with us all season, as well as end of last season.

Not in any way bothered about Poch though.

They were still issues with the playing staff, lack of character and options, which are being addressed at glacial speed..

Last season we were shit because of poor fitness. Now it's that we've got rid of shit players but the squad isn't good enough. Even though it was good enough to finish second with those shit players.

Seems like a lot of excuses being made. Not very convincing excuses either.

I’ll tell you what, Woodward really could have saved a bit of money by employing Ashton when he’s got dunk doing it for free 24 seven

No. Sheffield United manager is “doing a good job with what he’s got”, Ole is doing a pretty poor job by anybody’s standards

I'd have charged more to work for that worm. I'm doing £#%&! all for free. If you're expecting an immediate turnaround from the pile of shit Mourinho left you're a £#%&!ing moron.

Oh there’s been a turnaround alright, we went from finishing second and winning two trophies to being mid table mediocrity

Then we get turned over at home to Burnley.

Dont really see the issue with that. That's how the other managers were judged.
I think he will stay if we come top six - which shows how our standards have dropped.

I didn't want to say this as people would accuse me of having an agenda but - spot on.

We went from finishing second to finishing sixth and will probably finish eighth this season. This after signing a player Mourninho wasn't allowed but Ole was.

This is supposedly progress...

It’s amazing how everyone bar one or two completely overlook the £#%&!ing mess of the 6 years before ole came and is trying to get rid of all the players every single one of you £#%&!ing wanted to get rid and introduce younger better hungrier players introducing young talent from the acedemy and players improving ie Fred Marcus Scott lindelof .. all so the stoke Pulis can arrive.

No, but there is better method to fix it.

The current method hasn't been given time to prove it's merits as yet. That's the point you dolt.

Issues before this season imo.

LVG's first season we lost to Swansea home and away, Leicester away (when they were shite), and Southampton and West Brom at home. Then you look at draws at Sunderland, Burnley, West Brom, Villa, Stoke and Hull.

His second season we lost to Swansea, Bournemouth, Sunderland, West Brom, West Ham and Stoke away; and we lost to Norwich and Southampton at home.

Mourinho's first season we only lost 5 games all season, the worst one being away to Watford. But we drew at home against Burnley, Stoke, Hull, Bournemouth, West Brom and Swansea, only scoring four goals in total across those 6 games.

Mourinho's second season we lost 7 games and finished 2nd, West Brom at home and Huddersfield, Newcastle and Brighton away being the worst of the defeats that season. We drew against Burnley and Southampton at home. That has been our best season since Fergie retired, but the football was absolute dross and then everything went to shit in typical Mourinho style.

Not going to bother with last season as it was an absolute mess.

We've dropped points against the 'shitter' teams at home for years. We're dropping more at the moment, but imo the league is more competitive now that it has ever been, and our squad is the weakest it's been in decades.

Not sure how putting the mess the clubs in squarely on the board and not the manager is good PR for the board

Cool. How long then?

I only ask because you are seemingly absolutely sure we are heading down the right path with the right man in charge, so in your infinite expertise how long is this “fix” going to take?

How is the current football style better than Mourinho's?

It's pretty much exactly the same isn't it? Just less well executed.
