Default Team v Bolton - An Thread

Dunno if Rooney is fit for this, he's not trained all week so it's probbly a game for him to be rested. Berbatov's been in good form too, though this will be argued, so I'd like to give him but give him a partner up front but I think the team might work better as 4-3-3 again. Think I'll go with :-

VDS
Rafael
Rio
Vidic
Senegalese Superman
Valencia
Carrick
Fletcher
Nani
Giggs
Berbatov

With Giggs supporting Berbatov

I'd save Scholes for Tuesday. I'm sure he won't have gathered too much rust just yet.

I'd give mame some time in this game as well.

This is the type of fixture that he needs to prove his mettle in

Yeah nothing wrong with his knee apparently. Scholes is fit and he's debating starting Giggs.

Why risk someone who didn't train till Thursday, when we've got Bayern x2 and Chelsea in the following week?

We're getting to the stage of the season where training doesn't mean as much. It's all about freshness and preparing as best as possible for a busy schedule. Rooney's playing a lot of games and sitting out training sessions will only help in keeping him fresh. The players who are playing and in the zone don't really need 'training' at this stage.

I'd still rest him, mind.

I think Giggs will start too. Probably Rafael too as Fergie will probably opt for Nev in Germany.

I dunno....

VDS

Rafael
Vidic
Rio
Evra

Valencia
Carrick
Scholes
Giggs
Nani
