To make it a bit easier to work out the 2nd place teams results against the bottom teams will not count towards the points total

Before 1922 it was an all-island association. But the football clubs south of the partition line were kicked out of the league and had to start their own association.

Conflicted here. I appreciate the effort the welsh put into ruining every holiday i ever had, but the irish actually have something to hate us for (even if it is the trivial matter of ruining their potato patch). And this banger of a tune of course.

Come on the leprechauns.

In two minds, wouldn't mind Wales winning, but would be pleased for the Irish lads on here - Duckers, Bunks etc - if they made it

Wales could be a decent little side at the wc, ireland won't be. Don't really care either way but I like to see top players in the top comps and wales have one and ireland have none.

Bales will probably be injured for it though, the waster.

Ireland

No question about that

Would be good to see James McLean playing at a tournament

Not a single goal has been scored yet in any of the games and almost at half time.

Must be a first.
