Coutinho's wasn't a piledriver, mainly because it wasn't smashed with the laces but rather (superbly the Scouse @#%&!) struck with the instep.

But the term piledriver certainly has no roots in 'along the ground only'. If anything that would be a daisycutter.

I know we'd go down a place and out the CL spots, but I'd really rather Southampton won this.

Liverpool are really at it at the moment and unless we improve its a matter of time til they overtake us.

Nah, pile driver drives piles (poles) into the ground, there must be some relevence. I agree with daisy cutter, a pile driver must be no higher than a dandileon in height imho.

You could me brekky anytime btw.

They will. Southampton aren't set up to got 1-0 down. They base their entire gameplan on not conceding goals. They're £#%&!ed now.

However they shouldn't be if that ref had done his job properly.
