It depends how you set your team up and what types of player you recruit. In a slow build up, possession oriented team such as we have been for the last few years, I agree, Mata would be mostly ineffective; much in the way Kagawa was. In a fluid, mobile, fast breaking counter attacking team however, he would be devastating. Think first goal vs the dippers
