Is there a worse ground aesthetically in the PL than Old Trafford?

The only good-looking ‘stadium’ in the history of stadia is the San Siro. End of story.

ot is beautiful. a bit more symmetry might be in order, but otherwise gtfo.

It could do with some progress IMO. Gone from sustained upgrades to standing still.

South Stand should have been sorted years ago which it would have been if we had owners who were interested in being the best club on the planet.

One of the grounds is made out if shipping containers. Just rig the container yard next door up while you get the south stand sorted

What's the crack with the houses across the railway line? I thought the club had bought them all out, are we allowed knock them down and build a stand tunnelling over the tracks like at Lansdowne Road?

There's nothing wrong with Old Trafford. You could do the south stand up a bit but it's nice to have a ground with a bit of character and history rather than another identikit bowl ground. It's a football ground after all.

It just needs a bit of love. Some investment in the infrastructure rather than just a lick of paint every two f***ing years. I don't think any of us give two f***s about the wifi or whether or not the al a carte food service in the corporate boxes is up there with spurs and city or whatever.

It seems most of us agree that cosmetics are meaningless when set against decades of history that steeps the most historic stadium in the country.

Those complaining about OT should perhaps pause to reflect.

why not out-Michelin Tottenham and have a two-star rated restaurant that is open not only on match days and sits along side mid-range priced eateries that can be enjoyed after shopping at boutiques, working out at the Manchester United gym, watching the latest Hollywood blockbuster at the Manchester United cinema or a youth production at the Manchester United community theatre?

Nope, still owned and rented out by Trafford housing trust (flats either side of Stretford end bridge)

The terraced houses are owner occupied or private rented
