They can’t afford it anymore, they’ve neglected too much and entrusted spending to halfwits for too long. They’re at break point, if they wait too much longer the amount of investment required added to the loss and devaluation of sponsors will see the worth in a sale plummet.
Would still be shocked if we were to end up benefitting (aside from getting shut of them), the volume of investment required after the purchase is outrageous. We’ll probably end up being sold to some form of investment consortium which will leave us facing most of the same issues. |
