On a completely unrelated note... On my last visit to Manchester to see my family I was pleasantly surprised to find scampi fries in the local pub.

Just had a packet of Space Raiders beef. Not quite up there with MM, as far as crisp-alt cow snacks go, but still tasted great and took me back to my formative years. I got the lad some pickled onion ones, just to try. Again, not bad at all, and hard to choose between the two in terms of an all out favourite.
Talk about inflation, though. They used to cost 10p. Under the Tory government they've gone up to 35p.

Why are they called Ďflamin hotí? Neither are they flaminí, nor hot. Bring back prawn cocktail wotsits.

The correct answer is.

1. Pickled Onion
2. Flaming Hot
3. (If no other snacks in the house at all) Beef.
Wrong x 2 tbh

I voted pickled onion, naturally. But Iím staggered to see beef isnít winning.

I always thought it was far and away the popular choice and I was being an oniony little renegade.

Bit disappointed tbh.

As a kid in the 80s it was pickled onion always on the way to school.

As a 40 odd year old kid up a mountain it's beef.
