Default Just when it couldn't get any worse at Old Trafford...

Quote:
Manchester United supporters have had plenty to complain about in recent weeks and their latest gripe is team announcements not being completed before kick-off.

Fans have been left perplexed this season with the reading out of Louis van Gaal's starting XI and substitutes being cut short due to the action starting.

Been happening for at least 10 years btw

Journalism these days.
You get articles over a photo, tweet and in this case a complaint.

If that blend on the microphone didn't spend twenty minutes telling everyone where they were, what the attendance was, and saying happy brthday to Irfan from Karachi then it might get done on time. His wittering over the Munich silence was the pinnacle of his f***wittery.

And why, WHY, do they need to read the attendance out? Who f***ing cares? And why the absolute c***shoes do people applaud it?!

its like an idiots pavlovian response.....ooh 76,000 lets applaud, and a couple of chants of "loyal supporters" would be good as well

Couldn't we ask Pure to write the team list for him?

Number 1 - David de Giggity
Number 2 - Matthew Darwin
Number 3 - Like Shoes
Number 4 - Full Jeans

There used to be what sounded like a recorded message being played through the PA at old trafford. Thought it was a c**k up for one match but it kept happening.

Anybody remember what it was?

Of course not. But it was disquieting to say the least.

the greatest ever announcement at OT was a night match v Southampton in the early 80s, when it was announced at half time that Diedre had chose Ken over Mike Baldwin
