Unhappy Wilko Johnson diagnosed with terminal cancer

Former Dr Feelgood guitarist turned solo artist Wilko Johnson has reportedly been diagnosed with terminal cancer and has chosen not to undertake chemotherapy, vowing to rock on for as long as possible and 'party where he can'.

Really sad to read that this morning, one of the greats.

If anyone hasn't seen Oil City Confidential yet I urge you to watch it. Go and see Wilko live if you get the chance as well, cancer won't stop him rocking for a while I'm sure.

I'd forgotten that. Couldn't believe it when he first appeared on screen 'that's f***ing Wilko Johnson!!'. Even Mrs J was impressed.

Depends how well he is I suppose. Feels a bit weird going to see him knowing he's dying but I guess the money will help him out.

im just thinking that his final gig must be canvey island, so might be announcing some more
