Default Aesthetically pleasing digital radio for 150?

They don't exist do they?

Kept meaning to pick one of those Sennheiser Tangents but they don't seem to be available anymore.

Don't like the Roberts and the Pure ones look as bad as the forumista. Any ideas?

Why's that?

I've got two, one for home and one in the car and they are great. Crystal clear reception for things like 5 live and talk shite as well as channels you can't get any other way.

Because they are expensive and I think we pretty much nailed radio by the 1970s.

You are just consuming for the sake of it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't get digital channels on a clock radio can you?

And I don't want to stick my laptop in the kitchen.

Not at all. MW station become unlistenable to overnight sometimes, and the station I listen to most on my DAB radios is not available on FM or via freeview. I will admit to being a sucker for a good gadget, but my DAB radios were well worth the expenditure.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it's an MP3 player, not a DAB radio.

Can't justify spending over 150. They don't seem to bother about the look of the thing until 200 though.

You can get DAB clock radio's. I've got one. I listen mainly to 5 Live and occasionally Talk sport. It's how I manager to stay so well informed of world events. Any who, it looks OK, plays CD's and I believe you can hook up your Ipod to it. All for less than 100.
