Another who did every game. Was a brilliant season. 1989/90 was one of the times of my life. United, music, drugs, clothes, girls, drugs, United.

I know I went to Newcastle because my mates have told me but I have no memory of it.

I remember it threatening to kick off in Failsworth after the semi between reds and Oldham fans. There was a stand off but instead of it going off, it just turned into a big piss up.

I was also at every cup game that season. Formative time of my life along with the Mondays at GMEX, Quadrant Park, Hacienda and Rotterdam.

Got the coach to Hereford from Salford Precinct and there was a group of young lads about 12 or 13 who had never seen cows or sheep before.

Tried to take it into the game but the cops confiscated it

That’s no way to talk about Mal Donaghy.

Winning the FA Cup still felt really special back then, especially given the way it happened for us.

Followed by the WC.

1990...best year of my life, nqat.

Still not sure why that Forest goal was ruled out, what could have changed had that stood!!!
Made up for the goal that crossed the line against them in the 1989 cup game that wasn’t given. They got through to the semi at Hillsborough.
