I only used it as I've had it hung up next to the skateboard & judo suit gathering dust for 18 months, place to myself & a Monday evening - felt like killing a bit of time & putting the effort in to see if it was worthwhile.
It sort of was. But not enough to really make me change my mind about doing it properly on the BBQ or skillet in future.
I tried to make some sous vide bacon & gruyere egg bites (Starbucks does them in the States, they're a top notch breakfast snack) a few weeks ago, that was a proper disaster - I think I cooked them for about an hour, nowhere near ready. Put them in the microwave, didn't do shit. Tipped them out to add cheese on top & grill... splat. Missus put the wrong grill setting on, I honestly think we took about 2hrs to make something that was a rubbery mess. Shambles
