They're hedging their bets on selling players no £#%&!er wants. This could back fire spectacularly.

How it should be.

Fair play to them.

Pogba next hopefully.

They will win the CL next year.

Its not surprising. They probably had these players lined up months ago and are now just putting the finishing touches on deals they've been working on for ages.

Meanwhile our meglomaniac accountant who fancies himself as a director of football is probably trying to sign that woman who scored 5 for the USA the other day.

They know what they're doing. They don't have a limit on what they can spend and they were a bit shit last year, so they drop £350mil by the 13th June making sure it doesn't happen again. They don't even have to worry about players they want to get rid of really, it's not like keeping them on is going to destroy them financially, and their deadwood must be looking at the new signings coming in knowing that they either have to move for the good of their career, or pick up a paycheque and rot until their contract runs out. Either way, Real Madrid the club don't give a shit, they're just worried about getting their squad sorted for the coming season so they can win La Liga and/or lift the Champions League next year.

The only other team in the world who can match their spending power, who have had a shit 5 years, have just spent the best part of a month signing up a 21 year old Welsh lad from a Championship side for £17mil.

They're thinking "ok so he won a few things but how can we get rid of the failure bale" and we're "should we offer young a 1,2 or 3 year extension?"

not saying they are totally right but...

So how long are we giving Zidane then? Considering he was pretty much the luckiest manager alive in the CL his league form is Moyesesque and that was with Ronaldo. If this 300 odd million fresh bloody doesn't gel he's in for a torrid time.
