Not sure but I'm guessing it's the day everyone swears to tell the truth about hillsborogh, including the jolly scamps who were completely sober, had tickets, and queued patiently in line

'While we are on the subject of that thing, last week I was perusing the comments following a Guardian Matip article, I was reading on a tablet and my thumb accidently touched the screen to an advert link from* their 'comments' IT provider ( which they* have next to comments)..to my horror it automatically took me to a web page of that* thing, I was disgusted and emailed the Guardian editor and told him "*I would sooner place my thumb in a freshly produced dog turd than for it to click on a link to that piece of excrement masquerading as a news paper."

So Mr.Lawrenson all you had to do in that situation is tell the Footy focus editor you sooner present the show holding a freshly produced dog turd than that paper!...which trust me, wouldn't be as bad as the amount of shit your gonna get now!'

It was Chelsea.

It was my thumb.

Unsurprisingly its a load of self-congratulatory, look at us %@#$&!s that nobody outside of Liverpool gives a flying £#%&! about....

Quote:
On 6 January 2007, Reclaim the Kop organised a protest during the third round FA Cup match between Liverpool and Arsenal,[4] which was broadcast live on the BBC. The intention of the protest, which was dubbed 'Truth Day', was to highlight the anger of Liverpool fans that the BBC had employed Kelvin MacKenzie as a presenter, in spite of his comments during late 2006 that he did not feel any regret that while working as editor of The Sun he had published an article in the wake of the Hillsborough disaster which fabricated claims about the behaviour of Liverpool fans- including that fans had urinated on police and stolen from the bodies of the dying. The claims made in the story were subsequently found to be untrue and dismissed by the Taylor Report. On the day of the protest 12,000 fans in the Kop were given cards to hold up, forming a mosaic spelling out the words "The Truth". The mosaic was visible while Liverpool supporters chanted "Justice for the 96" for six minutes, signifying the length of time that the Hillsborough game played on for before being abandoned. In addition to being visible during the BBC's transmission of the match, the protest was widely reported in national newspapers.

Love the use of "claims" there. Just to throw a bit of doubt into the mix
