Scored 7 goals in the past two years. Rodgers probably thinks he can get him firing again.

Astute signings? They've signed the same old shite. There's only firmino who might be decent but he's a gamble and nobody had rewlly heard of him.

response: It is not about giving shit as a fan. A confidence boost for Brendan and team that they are doing things right.
- A RB who can't break into the England team.

- Milner who is a decent signing, couldn't break into the City team, found out at International level.

- Ings, was relegated, had a decent 6 months but poor end to the season.

- Firminho, overpaid (due to United's "interest"), looked good in mid table German team but struggled at Copa in a very very ordinary Brazil team.

- Bogdan, LOL

Meanwhile they lost their best player (to a "rival") and club captain. Great business.

I think some are decent tbf.

ings was cheap enough for the gamble and looks promising. Milner, as uninspiring as he is, has pedigree and should do well.

Clyne is probably their best signing considering the price and their need for a right back.

Firminho is the big gamble.

The issue for them (or rather Rodgers) is that they've yet again gone with a scatter gun approach. He's wasted so much money on so much shite that he has to get this right. He didn't adequately replace Suarez last year and they can't afford to do the same again this year with Gerrard and Sterling.

They won't miss Gerrard. One of Brenda's biggest mistakes was not £#%&!ing him off last season

They won't miss the Gerrard of the last 18 month or so, no. Agreed.
