Really getting sick of this new narrative of Southgate being some type of unique managerial genius as he's apparently so "calm" and so "intelligent" and so "thoughtful", when he's actually just a personality vacuum with zero charisma.

He's also a negative, tactical dinosaur who's had the luxury of a piss easy run of games, and a hugely favourable home ground bias.

Funny that Keane absolutely loves Southgate. Haven’t heard Roy talk about anyone else in more glowing terms.

Bit harsh all that - he’s slightly too conservative for my liking but is clearly an intelligent bloke and seems to have the respect of the players and a lot of people in the game. Find anyone with a hugely negative view of Southgate a bit weird tbh.
