Sure I've mentioned it before but I played as a sub in the old Div 1 (now Championship). Mind you this was followed by a rapid decline down the leagues fueled by injury, depression and more than a bit of the old Colombian marching powder, so probably not the best actual footballer but no-one can take that "I coulda bin a contendah" away from me

Had flashes of being decent but gave up when I worked ar United and saw a lad put the ball in the top corner - as he had intended

Played in a tournament in Germany which we won and had fans asking about me - I was at peak fitness then.

Nowhere near good enough to be pro.
