Decision down to you, do you sanction it? IMO the money doesnt matter that much given he is the most marketable player in the world and would pay for himself but the sporting value of signing him is not as clear cut. This league is £#%&!ing awful though and won't magically get much better next season.
No. We need to move on ffs.

Ronaldo is finally starting to slow down just a touch as a player. Getting outshone by Big Karim and Bale in recent weeks. Either they lose him this summer or commit to another two years of him as the star man of the side. Be interesting to see what happens.

Smartest thing might be to take the hit on the transfers this summer and give themselves next year to make that change if needed.

He'll finish his career there.

Only possible chance of us getting him would be to offer De Gea plus a fortune. Even then he'd probably rather go to PSG for an easy ride and guaranteed CL football. And, you know, life in gay Paris.

I'm sure Andy Mitten said De Gea's new contract has got a minimum fee release clause in it. 40 mill euros IIRC (or it might have been 40 mill sterling)

Yeah no way dave will leave. I'm sure he'll be happy enough to finish 8th every year and play in the europa league. Yep.

People ignore all the good FIFA has done especially in looking out for the poorer countries and young players.

Corrupt good > legal bad NQAT.

Not when the corruption overpowers all else, as unfortunately often tends to ultimately be the case (and has here)

It's a £#%&!ing no brainer. Our entire squad would be daft to turn down Madrid, Barca or Bayern - there's a grind to be had to get us back at the top table and I imagine not many of them will have the patience for it.

It was on the matter of where the next two World Cups are being held but for the many impoverished FAs receiving massive grants from FIFA it's easy to ignore and that's why Blatter always wins.

Presently most of the World Cup sponsorship, ticket and merchandise money is hoovered up by FIFA and then distributed around the world.

The media, at least in our part of the world, make this out to be terrible and attack from an angle of Brazil and South Africa not making any money from hosting. They never mention what FIFA does with the money, leaving people to think FIFA just keeps it all to itself or something.

If/when FIFA is finally brought down and replaced by an organisation where USA, England etc have more power that money will almost certainly end up in the accounts of multinationals instead. Leaving the grants to be slashed by hundreds or thousands of percent.

Fingers crossed it'll be Aguero. 28 in June, last chance for him to move to a proper club. If the @#%&! can stay fit there's no reason like Ronaldo he can't bag over 40 goals a season in that team/tinpot league.

Then again maybe he's happy collecting six hundred thousand pound a week from City.

Well, indeed. The idea that no good players will ever want to join us again is overdoing the gloom a bit tbh.
