I thought the last record was pretty tame, something I never thought I'd say re Iron Monkey. However a mate caught one of the recent live shows and said they were good.

Not exactly recent but the same mate, over in the States this time, caught a Cobalt gig. Awesome. Not sure if many folk on here are familiar but I'm a huge fan. Well worth checking out. Would've loved to have seen them with McSorley on vocal duties but that'll never happen now.

I see Power Trip have already had a mention on here, new Baptists is good and I'm reliably informed that the incoming Jesus Piece record is a belter. That new Sleep record is stiffy stuff.

Edit: I'm still based in Stafford and there's a local venue opened up just noticed Discharge are playing there soon. Might be worth a look.
