Berbs is a tad isolated up top, wouldn't mind seeing Chico come on for Valencia or summat

He was the miss I was referring to. It's coming though, he looks much better than he has done recently, more direct and more intent.

enjoyed that. some woeful passing early on but got better and better, dominated after the goal really.

carrick having a stormer valencia and nani both very threatening and young is doing well too.

Decent game. Benfica are a good, very cynical side, Gaitan and Aimar have shown a lot of quality and they look dangerous on the counter.

Pleased for Berbatov, up to his goal he had barely a kick but it picked him up and he has shown some lovely touches since, need to keep feeding him the ball. The 3 behind him are all struggling for their best form, Valencia especially, totally bereft of confidence, his last option seems to be to take his man on.

Carrick playing well again, hard work for he and Fletcher though as Benfica are overloading that area.

settled down well after a dodgy start, got a better grip on the game in midfield now. carrick superb again.

pea for valencia is an option if it's still level late on, get young and nani to stretch them out wide and open up the middle more - rich pickings.

Carrick has been our best player again.

Young should have rounded the keeper when he was one-on-one.

I will be very disappointed if we don't win this. Gotta top the group.
