Do you? I don't. Much as I can't stand the old perv, this rings true. Wouldn't be much point after all this time to finally take time away from the ladies bogs only to outright lie and expose himself to even more ridicule.

Fergie is the sort of shameless self promoter you usually see only in politics and hollywood.

So he's not embellishing his memories to sell the book. He alludes to the 17 major trophies won on his watch - like he kicked a ball.

All he was good at was making money from the club

Well he's not embellishing is he? He's outright calling Fergie a liar.

If we didn't know Fergie to be the chronic narcissist he is I'd probably agree with you, but the mans nuts when it come to himself. Probably couldn't bear for people to think he had nothing to do with it so he made up some shit about a note knowing full well Edwards, as chairman, would say nothing.

Inherits club, fails to secure shit price to sell it for, accidentally rakes it in years later.

Also says the souvenir shop was a thank you to Busby for his services. Doesn't say that those services were getting big daddy Louis on the board and the two of them lived happily ever after.

What would that have brought in during the 70s.

20p for an enamel badge and the occasional big spender splashing out on a £2 scarf.

Gabriel Omar at his peak, would have been the second best signing in history after Eric.
