Well done Ole.
What do you want him to say?
It’s the press. They don’t deserve any more than dull platitudes.

Well not really. The rags are going to write what they want anyway, the real audience for any press conference are the fans who watch in the hopes the manager is going to say something that might reflect their own feelings on the matter.

It’s a tricky thing to properly gauge the mood of the club and balance out losing the dressing room vs losing the supporters, but if he really does think he’s a matter of games away from being tinned, i wouldn’t be protecting these shit bags any longer. They won’t save him no matter what.

He doesn't, he said the rumors were blatant lies.

I've never thought a press conference anything more than a contractual obligation.

Not going to say it's true is he?

We all know if we lose these two games he is gone as we will be about 14th and only 3 points (ish) off of the bottom three. 'Transition period' or not, that is absolutely unforgivable.

I was not a fan of Mourinho by any means, he has to go, but we have gone backwards massively.

Nature of a rebuild.

Mou finished 2nd and nobody was satisfied. We knew the football had to change and the personnel weren't the right profile.

One more summer required, minimum. Suck it up.

The same personnel that he tried to sign only for us to sign them anyway a week later?

Not making excuses for him by any means but a lot of what he said now appears to be true.

He won't be here for the summer, just accept it.

Oh I agree. It's on Woodward.

Therefore Ole should get some leeway. I have no idea whether he'll be here or not, I'm just saying that this is a unique set of circumstances and getting rid of him will be a mistake.

You'll see when Poch is appointed.

In the grand scheme of things press conferences mean £#%&! all

Performances and results are the only thing that matter in the long run

It's a shite theatre and an obligation for managers. Sometimes good questions are asked, but for the most part it's the same old stupid questions which require the same old tired cliche answers.

It's why Mourinho is box office, because he has a habit of acting like a bit of a @#%&!. Not that it has any correlation with what happens on the pitch, else we would have won back to back Champions leagues with the amount of mad shit he came out with in the pressers.
