Guardians top 10 Football moments of 2014

We've had a £#%&!ing magnificent season. We're almost certainly not going to win the title, but I feel as if I've got my lovely old Liverpool back.

We're in the Champions League and we're going to kick arse next season.

If you're thinking we're suddenly shit, or questioning Brendan Rodgers, or questioning our players' commitment or spirit, £#%&! OFF.

they really £#%&!ing hate chelsea don't they. It might be because aside from us, Chelsea seem to be the only other lot that have them sussed for the @#%&!s they are. They're the only other set of fans that sing murderers at them and 'always the victim'.

I'm not ashamed to admit it, before that game I had my doubts

It was the universal joy at their collapse that stands out for me. For years Liverpool and their fans have been trying, with the aid of their fawning media conscripts, to cast their club as the romantic choice, everyone's second team. Came as a shock to them how despised they actually are, not just bitter Utd fans but across the board.

I can't properly hate chelsea or palace since that tbh. They saved us all a summer of the most self righteous @#%&!ery ever.
