The buzz at the end of the season was fantastic. Moyes sacked and Liverpool's season falling apart days later Honestly believe God is a red and was just wumming those silly bastards.

Gerrard's slip ffs It couldn't be more perfect.

The best thing about Gerrard's slip is that it's right at the end of injury time (because of Chelsea time wasting ) and the ref is just about to blow when the ball runs under his foot
If he had just booted the ball into the stands then they ref would have blown for half time and Liverpool probably win the league

Gerrard stumbling around the pitch, teary eyed and stupefied. Suarez inconsolable, can't even bring himself to show his face (a kindness).

Gerrard now a broken man. Suarez safely on the wing in Barcelona. Brenton squandered the windfall.

I'd say it worked out pretty well.

I would have had Jamie Jackson in my top 10 somewhere

This fella has managed to make his contemporaries in the brain cell challenged word of football journalism look like Plato in comparison.

£#%&!ing idiot

Any other player and he'd have been hounded out in the summer.

The whole story was based around him finally winning the one trophy he desperately wanted, you couldn't write the story any better. Honestly don't think it'll ever be beaten.

Aguero's hat trick? If he'd dragged the Berts back into the game with outstanding individual skill that might make sense but Bayern got the assists for two of them for £#%&!s sake, prior to that he was running his stumpy legs off achieving £#%&! all while Bayern publicly teabagged City with ten men.

Including that and not having Gerrard's slip in is absolute %@#$&!s. The main story from last season was that @#%&! grandstanding for the media before pulling the mother of all Devon Lochs out of his arse.

When every neutral fan around the country was gritting their teeth for the inevitable summer of stories containing phrases like "Mr Liverpool", "rightful place" and "power shift" along with endless £#%&!ing references to "Brendan's new boot room" and "preserving the legacy of Shankly and Paisley", Steven Gerrard slipped, and there isn't a non Liverpool football fan in this country who hasn't seen a gif of that and had a little smile to themselves. RVP's header isn't even £#%&!ing close.

Bang on. Absolutely unbelievable that anyone could make such a list and not include that. It's THE stand-out moment, no question.

What about the face on Souness last night when Jamie pulled Chelsea's ball out the bag? Looked like he'd just told him a Hillsborough joke

Talking of Crystalnacht, this particular moment had me choking with laughter even more than the equaliser

Next season when I see Anfield dressed in the starball motif and the CL anthem blaring out as the players line up, it'll just think to myself, well they won't be experiencing this at old Trafford, White Hart Lane and Goodison any time soon.
We'll see about that shall we.
