2019.
What a year.
Murdering dippers won a 6th European cup and are a shoe in to win the league.
Their 19th.
Now they are world champions.
And the Tories are running Britain.

Enough to drive some to suicide.
Seriously.

When we won the last European cup (and the 2 finals we lost) we had that @#%&!ing Barcelona team of xavi, iniesta and messi shitting on us. Where's the challenge for these @#%&!s?

Just shows what I've said along.
There is no god.

They’re run very well and we’re a £#%&!ing circus that’s what it boils down too. They deserve it tbf to them. My hatred for those tin pot blue @#%&!s has completely taken over. Don’t really care about Liverpool anymore, I’m also more concerned with the state we’re in to be worrying about them

It is hard to stomach that while Ferguson had to contend with the Real Madrid of Figo and Roberto Carlos, the Juventus of Zidane and the Barcelona of Messi, these @#%&!s get to play Tottenham @#%&!spur in the £#%&!ing final and have become resurgent just when everyone else has pretty much gone to shit.
It could get much worse, this.

Anyway, Merry Christmas.

One thing I learned from the commentary: they've never won the cup winners cup, and of course never will.

We won this world club cup thing first.

We won the European cup first.

And of course, the treble.

£#%&! em

Just the way it is. We massively under achieved in europe, i don't care what anyone says. From 1996 to 2016 we played in the champions league for something like 18 seasons.

Liverpool haven't won a league title in 30 years yet they've equalled our tally of champions league wins in the modern era.

The @#%&!s finished 6th when they won in 2005, it barely counts in my eyes.

The other one was legit, but they had a touch getting Spurs in the final.

Also doesn't help that post 2009 the club effectively stopped being competitive in signing players.

5th I think. Chelsea were 6th when they won it.

We’ve only ever been to the final as champs

2019? Nah they were thrid in 2018 season.

so techinically 4 vs 3, 2005 and 2019 should be counted as UEFA cups.

This says more about UEFA being stupid by abolishing Cup Winners Cup and destroying the fabric of European football. Its actually scary how many teams have won the Champions League that did not WIN their domestic league the year before since year 2000.

2018–19  England Liverpool*
2017–18  Spain Real Madrid
2016–17  Spain Real Madrid*
2015–16  Spain Real Madrid*
2014–15  Spain Barcelona*
2013–14  Spain Real Madrid*
2012–13  Germany Bayern Munich*
2011–12  England Chelsea*
2010–11  Spain Barcelona
2009–10  Italy Internazionale*
2008–09  Spain Barcelona*
2007–08  England Manchester United
2006–07  Italy AC Milan*
2005–06  Spain Barcelona
2004–05  England Liverpool*
2003–04  Portugal Porto
2002–03  Italy Milan*
2001–02  Spain Real Madrid
2000–01  Germany Bayern Munich
1999–2000  Spain Real Madrid*

* Club didn't win the domestic league the season before.

But now you will say wait minute what about United in 1999? They didn't win EPL in 1998. Well As you all know a terrible disaster occured on 6th Febuary 1958, when United was travelling home from Belgrad when Busby Babes were destinated to win European Cup in 1958. UEFA proposed originally after the disaster to name Manchester United as champions dedicated to the win in memory of Babes who died. the English FA declined. Then UEFA proposed to give United free entry the following season English FA also declined that proposal. So my argument is UEFA owed Manchester United 1 free run at European Cup after Munich... and we conquered in most spetacular fasion...OLE

The fact we won it in 99 without winning the league and some are trying to discredit the Scousers win for the same reason is pretty £#%&!ing stupid let's be honest. And as touching as reasons are for trying to say why it is different for us, it fails...

Still the 1958-59 European Cup thing does demonstrate that the football authorities in this country have always been know-nothing #@&%!s.
