What was it he said about not needing to be competitive on the pitch to make money as a club

Van Gaals first pre season where Woodward did an interview with MUTV () and said we can do things in the transfer market that no other club could

The rumour he tried to convince Klopp to join us when we sacked Moyes and told him we’re the Disney land of football...

Few of us have been saying it for a while tbh.

Of course the bigger problem is the glazers, but it’s not as though we haven’t spent money in those six years and with a competent CEO in place we’d be in a much better state (on the field) than we are at the moment.

Thumbs up

A new Chief Exec in place before Wednesday will definitely help the footballers be better at football by the time we play City.

Has anybody - literally anybody - on here suggested that the club isn't run in a shambolic fashion?

Sometimes feels like it's people late to this party who think nobody else has clocked it.

Worse. “6 years of wasteful service” now at Woodward’s door... Blamed not because any actual tangible mistake made, no, blamed because of his length of service.

His job is to bring in funds and support the Manager with whatever they need. Every Manager appointed has had the large majority of players they requested. No Manager has been fundamentally denied anything of significance.
