BBC vs ITV
Who's got the best coverage
The days of it being a bbc shoe in* long gone.... Someone will have to help me with the line ups... *if wondered, like me, : shoo-in is a guaranteed winner. This noun phrase first appeared in the 1930s in the context of horse racing. When there was a predetermined winner in a horse race, jockeys would hold their horses and shoo the winner in. |

Some Ingurland £#%&!wits are on social media demanding that the remaining Ingurland games be only shown on BBC.
The Senegal game is on ITV & apparently Ingurland have only won 14% of their games shown on ITV compared to 73% when shown on BBC1* *This stat dates from the 1998 World Cup. No idea why this competition is used as the start of this stat. |

I don’t mind Lineker and I quite like Wright, Shearer and Klinsmann.
But Jenas is appalling and I still reckon Martin Keown is the worst co-commentator of all time. I’m genuinely unhappy when I know it’s him. That Sam Matterface is an annoying #@&%!. Is he ITV? McCoist is decent though. Coverage, ITV edge it. But I can’t believe we still have ad breaks in 2022, so BBC. |
