Nowadays, It is a legal requirement to state the amount of calories on that type of menu - that was a pub menu.

Same as all take away food - whether it is BK, KFC etc

Lunchtime sandwich shops, like PRET, M&S have to do it.

The lass filming - if she is so concerned, why go to a local chain/pub for food?

The girl filming clearly asked for one without calories, and the waitress brings the wrong one, because she admits she made an error.

She’s a bit of a c*** for filming it and kicking off in that manner, but it can be triggering for people with or recovering from eating disorders for example. It’s massively patronising and insensitive of the waitress to say “you don’t need to worry, you look wonderful” when she has no idea what the girl’s been through or struggling with.

Summary - both at fault. Although the whole thing looks and sounds weirdly faked to me

That sounds about as well acted as an episode of eastenders

I get the impression they had some of the old menus without the calories on and that the customer had specifically asked for one of them. Like you say, odd behaviour, why go if you are that bothered, but then, we don't know her back story do we
