Played really well, should've done better with his chance and was sometimes sloppy with his passing, but he was playing like he gives a shit and that's the one thing I've always wanted to see from him.

In the spirit of Millard Fillmore's reputed final words - his performance was adequate.

Played well

Obviously over complicates things massively when if he keeps it a little simpler he’d be a much better players, but that’ll ever change with him

£#%&!ed up his chance though which takes a few marks off

6.8/10

Thought he was good but should have scored at the end there.

Decent - didn’t think his chance was that easy tbh.

Well his touch makes it an easy chance. He should be finishing that. Huge miss

shouldn't a world class player be finishing that chance?

played okay, i was worried about him getting caught out in defence but he tracked back well and helped AWB when needed. just not sold on him playing that far wide on the right in attack, he doesn't have the legs or space to get past his man from there, he's more effective on the left.

but should have scored imo, he went for power instead of placement and shot directly at Allison and made it easy for him

Liverpool had the angle covered. Some harsh judgements today, he was the only one of our players who was consistently beating a man, covered a lot of ground and looked more up for it than the rest of our midfield.

He played well by his usual standard, but poor by his recent standard. Gave the ball away far too much with options ahead of him, but was easily the most composed of the lot in there.... but he HAS to score that chance. Particularly with the form he’s in.

I’m not convinced they had the angle covered. There’s a covering defender diving in, but I don’t think he’s getting there if Pogba hits it well enough across Allison. Despite that, he could still get some height on it. It was a finish of no conviction.

Yep. Struck the chance really well.
