Big Rom stood there the whole var review holding the ball, when he pointed to the spot Mata took it off him

Didn't like that long delay. But, without VAR, the ref would have given a free kick to Reading.

When you can shoot like that, you deserve a crack at it. Great strike.

Mata.

VAR still a load of a shite.

Because VAR makes refs shit scared to give a decision, they don’t have the benefit of the doubt

That's what it's there for.

It takes a while, but for a major decision, what's the rush?

It has its critics, but that a perfect example of what it's there for.

Great intelligence to his game, stylistically like carrick but I think better in tight spaces.

Maybe not quite as two footed but may be wrong.

Pereira was tried in that role early this season but doesn't have the innate positioning for it.

Doesn't matter whether you're a more physical holder or morecultured still need the positioning.
Are there no CB’s/FB’s (Aside from those on loan) coming through? Used to be a veritable conveyor belt in those areas..

Without the offside goal would VAR have reviewed for a penalty?

Too many things slowing the game down. Every little nudge is a foul. Now this momentum killing measure.

Lukaku seems less nervy in his passing. Fred has been more involved. Sanchez looks keen.

Ole is smashing it.

There’s a player in Fred, likes a forward pass that’s for sure.
