You mean the World Cup winning and European Championship winning no mark who played for Birmingham in the twilight of his career?

Yes, that's him.

I still don’t quite understand why we’re meant to think Zidane coming in is a terrible idea. There’s nobody else and it makes a lot more sense than Moyes or old man Louis ever did.

I just want release from the current.

Would honestly take just about anything to be out of the current situation.

Controversial opinion alert...

Personally I think our current state is largely down to SAF. He won the league with a team who had no right to do so then saddled us with Moyes. Our fate was sealed at that point. If we'd got Mou in straight away we would not have fallen so far and maybe even won the league again by now. This would have made it easier for the next bloke, because Jose is not long-term manager material.

Seems to be the bedrock of our recruitment policy under Woodward. Big name commercially and there’s nobody else. A perfect fit.

I'm still convinced the only reason we signed Fred was because his name is the same as the mascot.

indeed. we're still lumbered with half a team of shit that he signed ffs.

More players started on Tuesday that were signed by Ferguson than our current manager.
