When he first was getting played he was always looking to make clever passes forward. I thought he was gonna be a well-rounded forward but he's turned into a one dimensional shoot-on-sight idiot. Hope this changes as he is so exciting To watch when he plays well.

Burn difficult when you’ve got no one further forward than you to pass to. What’s happened is the entire burden has been placed on him to create and score goals and be used of his immaturity/naivety he’s tried to take it on. The injury was a killer for him and it’s shown in his play since the Liverpool game. Couple that with the training he did with Mourinho back in July last year and you can understand why he’s struggled of late. He’ll score 20+ goals next season if the signings are right.

How many signings would you be happy with? By my reckoning we are in dire need of at least 5. Agree with you btw, just think it's a bleak prospect at the moment as the club seems to have no idea what to do with itself. Really hope I'm proved wrong in the summer and we make necessary signings, not stupid ones.

In fairness, Drogba, Ibrahimovic, Milito, Ronaldo, Benezema, Costa, Hazard, Sneijder, McCarthy to name a few all regressed dramatically under Mourinho and his training methods...

Who knows what they could have become if he didn't force his training methods on them?

In his defence, playing up front on your own is one of the hardest jobs in football.

Fergie would have someone up there with him.

Still....

Hopefully one day we can talk about a goal he scored rather than how good he’s going to be in two years time.

Tbf he's just declined to the general level of shitness that he is surrounded with.

I still think he is actually one of the few genuinely talented people we have got.

Really needed him to step up these last few weeks, show some quality, some leadership, give us a reason to trust him. He hasn't.

It's sad and frustrating to watch him now, yet another wasted talent, but that's United in 2019. And it has to change.

You jest, but he would almost certainly do well at a decent well run club.
