Cue plethora of 'Fergie let off the hook again' 'How much more will he get away with?'...etc.....failing to see that it's the charge in the first place that is utterly ridiculous rather than the let-off itself. Not to mention the fact that he doesn't get away with stuff. The last time he was charged, he was found guilty and banned from the touchline. Crime = punishment. How is that getting away with it?

£#%&!ing morons.

I think it was Borsuk who was talking about 'respect'. It's ironic that he's accused of a lack of respect and undermining the ludicrous Respect campaign when he commands more respect than any other figure in the game, compared to the FA who are a £#%&!in laughing stock making mistake after mistake and have earned no respect from anybody whatsoever.

As did Arry Rednapp before game with Dippers.

File under obscure rule that is only enforced when Man Utd are involved, see rule on using foul and abusive language for examples.

I fully expect at some stage next season Ferguson getting charged because he refuses to answer questions about referee at all.

This was brought up on 'Sunday Supplement' this weekend.

Fergie was charged because "somebody brought the comments to their attention" - probably Patrick Barclay or some other desperate ABU @#%&!.
Anyway, the FA were asked why Ancelloti didn't receive a charge as he made identical comments in the build up to the game. Their answer was "nobody brought Ancelloti's comments to their attention" ...which of course rubber stamps the theory that the FA only react off the back of media pressure.

The FA have obviously discovered examples of countless manager's talking about the Ref pre-match & have decided not to make themselves look even more @#%&!ish than what they already are.

And essentially saying that they need someone to do their job for them.

So we need people to bring televised press conferences and pre/post match interviews about football to the Association Of Football?

Not as bad as the Tony Pullis comments before the Semi Final

Quote:
Howard is a great ref in my book and certainly as good as there is in the world. What makes him special is that little bit of an aura he has about him. He deals with players very well and I think most people in the game respect him.

"We are pleased to have him [for the semi-final]. Now we just hope it’s an eventful game for the right reasons and that major decisions are decided by the players, not the officials.”
If that were a club talking to a player they would of been done for "tapping up"

No different to Fergie's really. And why shouldn't they be allowed to say that? It's £#%&!in' praise!! He's a good ref, the Queen has £#%&!in' ackowledged this and given him an MBE, so praise is probably likely to take place. It's actually insulting to Webb that the FA imply that a ref could be influenced by praise. They're suggesting that managers are stupid enough to think that simple praise may make a ref blush and award them a penalty, and that the refs are stupid enough to fall for this. Not much of a show of faith in the ref's integrity. Show YOUR refs more 'respect', guys.

Well, I can say categorically that's not true because I sent them an email (I know ) with a link to Ancelotti's comments, asking if a) he was also to be charged and b) they were readying themselves for the extra workload of charging virtually every single manager in the English game.

Funnily enough, I didn't get a reply.
