Champions League final suspensions

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but could somone give a definitive on whether two yellows in each leg of the semi means missing the final. And indeed a straight red. Some know-all in the pub last night reckoned UEFA a few years ago wiped all suspensions for the finals nowadays. Any Fredsters know if this is true? As Barca Real looks like being more than a bit tasty next week looks like there may be a few cards.

The guy in the pub is talking %@#$&!s.

I thought so - just been readin a bit online and think they scrap any yellows after group games. So everyone has a clean slate for the knockout stages

A yellow in each semi will lead to a suspension in the final... or a straight red in the second as Fletch will testify.

Isn't Alves on a yellow too? The @#%&!.

Vidic (chelsea) and Fabio (schalke) have a yellow each from the knock out stages.

If either get another yellow this wednesday are they then suspended for the final ?

Nearly sure there was 2 of them so could have been him. As it turned out Fletch was the biggest miss of all.

from what i can tell none are in danger of getting a booking and missing it, only a red card would

Sergio Ramos was one booking away from a one game suspension and got booked. If he had got a second yellow would that mean he was banned for two games, missing the final, or just one?

Quality player, complete @#%&! - if he is suspended for the final, it would mean Mascherano in midfield I think.... I'd £#%&!ing love it if he got sent off again
