They killed him.

Forget the idea that SAF is retirement, cost us dearly. It was Scholes retirment that changed everything.

I mean look at It United struggled after Scholes first retirment, and now it even worse.

His time as a player was (finally) up. It is the failure to even partly replace him that is the problem.
