DId we not get rid of fa cup replays one season? or was that the other cup?

The carabao cup semis should be a one-off at a neutral stadium.

Scrapped during Covid and last season for 3rd/4th round ties.

Apparently:

Rather than abolishing all replays the FA will make decisions on individual ties after the second-round draw is made in December, with those involving teams playing in Europe likely to be restricted to 90 minutes.

One of the many, many reasons you can't take football too seriously these days.

FIFA coming out this morning and saying we should all just concentrate on the football

we're all mugs.

Yes, a really sensible decision to make teams from two different European competitions play each other in a play off game just after a mid-season World Cup.

And why the Christing shit is there an international break in March when we have a World Cup before? For the love of all things sacred, tell me those aren’t friendlies.

Well done to everyone involved 👍

A bit of sensationalism in the twitter post by including cup replays and assuming we'll get to every single final.

It'll be reet.

TBH, teams that qualify for Europe shouldn't play in the league cup anyway.

Just goes to show that they care nothing for the game and most of them know nothing about it and the ones that do just seem to be corrupt

Interspersed with dippers insisting we “play 2 days running with a marathon squeezed in betwee, like we had to”

How this ever got rubber stamped is beyond me. Well except for the corruption and back handers obviously.

Scandalous that £#%&!ing Blatter isn’t doing time for the shit he’s created - and not just this

FA will solve it with 3rd round cup draw:

Utd v Berts
Dippers v Chelsea
Spurs v Arse

Winners play off in 4th round
