I reckon Ole has had words with Ed. Something along the lines of "can you stop telling everyone who we are going to buy and how much money we have this summer?" and Woody has subsequently briefed the press in an attempt at diverting attention away from the really obvious players we have been looking at. Even though everyone knows by now. Also he probably realised we aren't gonna get top 4.
